Bachelor of Journalism

~~Journalism has gone through a series of changes in the last few years. Like the rest of the world, even Journalism is becoming paperless. What started with magazines and newspapers, have now graduated into Apps that deliver news in an instant to your mobile phone.
This course is specially designed to help you learn how news has become digital from being a printed word on paper. The course also helps you learn the nuances of creating and managing content on websites and blogs.
The course also helps you understand social media and the tricks of using social media to the hilt to make your content viral.
This course also includes broadcast media modules that helps you become camera savvy and learn the nuances of reporting in front of the camera.

Class timings:
Since the institute offers Full Time courses, the classes are held from 11:00p.m to 5:00 p.m from Monday to Friday. There will be no lectures conducted on Saturday and Sunday.  However, guest lectures and seminar will be conducted in the week days in the afternoon. There is an annual holiday too which will be declared in due course. 

Evaluation:
The institute believes in ensuring that each candidate is trained in the manner that he or she is geared to take up professional assignments after the completion of the course. Students shall also be evaluated on the basis of their initiative to submit assignments and projects on their own, based on what they have learnt in the classes. Their interaction in the class and participation in discussion and academic activities and their general interest in the course shall help them in their internal evaluation. There will be some marks reserved for attendance also. A student who does not submit any project work or assignments will not be qualified to get the Diploma.

Internships:
Students are sent for internships during the end of the course.

Placement:
There’s an active placement cell which tries its best to provide a good placement to all the students of the institute. All the students of the institute are provided placement assistance.

Bachelor of Science in Networking & Multimedia-

This Internet protocol was quickly embraced by the public and has become the most popular way to provide and obtain information from the Internet. The Web offers not only access to files to download, but offers a way to jump from site to site through a series of connecting hyperlinks.

The most distinguishing feature of the Web is the way that text is formatted. A series of "tags" is used to encode and format text, graphics, animation, sound, and other types of files. These tags are called HTML (HyperText Markup Language). These HTML files appear on your computer screen as determined by the tags used in its coding. You can see the "source" HTML coding for any Web page by choosing to "View Source" from your browser's menu bar.

Most browsers allow for access through FTP, Gopher, telnet, and email as well as through the hypertext transfer protocol, although installation of helper applications may be required. These are programs that work with the browser and allow access to a variety of protocols and file types.

B.Sc. in Animation and Multimedia (B.Sc. A&M)is anundergraduate coursefor a successful career in the field of animation and multimedia. An integral factor for being eligible for this course is that the candidate must have completed 10+2 from a recognized board of education.

Like all undergraduate program, B.Sc. A&Mis a three years course. B.Sc. A&M also goes by the name of B.Sc in Animation and Visual Effects and is also clubbed with Graphic Designing and goes by the name B.Sc in Animation, Multimedia and Graphic Designing or B.Sc in media graphic and animation. B.Sc. AM offers specialization in 2D and 3D animation and VFX. Admission to the programis based onmarks scored in 10+2 and/or an aptitude test taken by certain colleges.
